On November 9-10 the LIVE ONLINE Sustainable Materials series will take place. The series, organised by Jakajima in close collaboration with strategic partner Brightlands Chemelot Campus, will cover specific themes concerning the value chain recycling of plastics for a sustainable plastics recycling ecosystem.

On November 9 (12:00-16:15 hours, CET), The Plastic Waste 2 Plastic Conference will cover various topics related to turning waste plastic via pyrolysis /chemical recycling into new plastics competing with plastics made from virgin fossil oil. Speakers from Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Unilever, SUEZ, Plastic Energy Ltd., SABIC, Infinity Recycling, Recycling Technologies Ltd, APK AG, TNO, Ioniqa Technologies, Black Bear Carbon, VITO, Plasma Power Group, gr3n , Fraunhofer UMSICHT and Kiduara will be there to present. On November 10 (12:00-16:00 hours, CET), The Design 4 Sustainability Conference covers all aspects enabling a circular economy by applying design methods on material, product and value chain level. The conference will focus especially on design for plastics packaging. Speakers from Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging, LyondellBasell, SABIC, Procter & Gamble, Brightlands Materials Center, VITO, GBO Innovation Makers, Maastricht University and Yparex will tackle topics such as: Recycling of multilayer packaging film | Challenges of PET Trays Recycling | Mono-PE packaging solutions | Packaging sustainability in three tracks and many more interesting subjects.
