Personalized medicine is the future that 3D printing can enable

The current medical treatment model, centered on a “one size fits all” approach, lacks precision. Personalized medicine, aiming for tailored treatment based on individual profiles, holds promise for optimal efficacy and minimal side effects. TNO, with 3D printing technology, collaborates with the renowned hospital, Erasmus University Medical Center, to customize pediatric doses efficiently. The goal is to integrate 3D printers into hospital pharmacies for swift, cost-effective production of customized medication.
